The clouds parted and… suddenly it’s spring!

We spent a very gloomy morning at the flower market yesterday searching for the best blooms for a very hush-hush project we’re working on. The gray New York drizzle and mist made for a miserable day, but once inside the stores, our spirits soared.

They were filled to bursting with bunches of gorgeous spring flowers in every tone of pink, purple, orange, red and green imaginable.  Tulips, ranunculus, sweet peas, hyacinths and a hundred other blooms filled the air.

Then later in the afternoon, when it seemed the day would never end, the clouds suddenly parted and the sky turned a lovely robin’s egg blue with soft pink clouds.

Spring is here.
