21 Mar The Ad Council Makes a Moving Power Play
The sharpest minds of the advertising world were abuzz in the transformed Waldorf Astoria ballroom last November as an audience of 1,400 guests gathered to pay tribute to leadership and hear a moving message about The Advertising Council as a Power For Change in the industry and the world.
Working in a closely collaborative fashion with The Ad Council’s in-house team, 360 Design orchestrated an emotional, entertaining and efficient evening that wrapped powerhouse partners Adobe, Google, iHeart, Clear Channel Outdoor & Facebook into the message. We provided the strategic vision, comprehensive creative direction for the branding, style guide, print collateral and immersive environment plus technical direction and program management – ensuring a seamless program fully aligned with The Ad Council’s brand and mission.
With spot-on comedy interludes by master of ceremonies, The Late Late Show host James Corden, and a private concert by Sheryl Crow, the evening’s highlights also included a spontaneous and sustained standing ovation for President and CEO Lisa Sherman’s moving call to action remarks.
After the event Lisa said to me, “Matthew, there are moments in a company’s history where we have to pause and say we have elevated to a whole new level. Thank you, to you and your team, for helping us do that with your vision for and execution of the production last night.”
